St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Opening Weekend
With Hilary Hahn
Event Details
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra season opens with pure magic at Stifel Theatre September 23 and 24. Violinist Hilary Hahn is one of the world’s leading soloists. After 21 years, she returns to the SLSO by popular demand. Hahn mixes brilliance with heart in one of her favorite concertos, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. Stéphane leads us on an enchanted journey: from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, to Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (made famous by Disney’s Fantasia), to the hijinks of Richard Strauss’s Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel.
