Phone-Free Experience
This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space.
Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience.
ABOUT TIFFANY HADDISH
Emmy & Grammy award winner Tiffany Haddish has become one of the most sought-after comedic actors worldwide. She is currently seen in Apple TV's critically acclaimed second-season series of The Afterparty. Her recent theatrical releases include Disney’s Haunted Mansion, Back on the Strip, and Landscape With Invisible Hand. Other recent projects include The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Easter Sunday, The Card Counter, and On the Count of Three. Haddish is perhaps best known for her breakout role in the smash comedy Girls Trip, where she starred as the scene-stealing “Dina” alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, and Regina Hall. Haddish can be heard voicing Tuca in Adult Swim’s Tuca & Bertie and Hulu’s Solar Opposites, where she voices Aisha. Her Emmy-nominated and Grammy-winning comedy special, Tiffany Haddish: Black Mitzvah, debuted on Netflix in December 2019. Haddish made history by becoming the first black female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live, which earned her the 2018 Emmy Award for “Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.” Haddish’s first book, a memoir called The Last Black Unicorn, made the New York Times Best Sellers List, and the companion audiobook, narrated by Haddish, was nominated for a 2019 Grammy Award for “Spoken Word Album.” In 2022, Haddish released her debut picture book, Layla, The Last Black Unicorn. Tiffany Haddish recently founded The She Ready Foundation to help and support foster kids in need. In 2021, The She Ready Foundation launched an Internship Program with Ready to Succeed for foster youth in the SoCal area. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
ABOUT LIL REL HOWERY
Milton “Lil Rel” Howery is a West Side Chicago native actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for breakout roles in The Carmichael Show (2015-2017), as well as in the Oscar-winning horror film Get Out (2017). Howery has become a comedic staple in Chicago and a rising star nationally. His hilarious storytelling has allowed him to become an increasingly iconic personality. In early 2016 Netflix released Rel’s first stand-up special Kevin Hart Presents: Lil Rel: RELevent, to which he has followed with two acclaimed HBO comedy specials, Lil Rel Howery: Live in Crenshaw (2019) and I said it. Y’all thinking it (2022). Howery has also maintained a strong film career, winning “Best Comedic Performance” at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards for his role in Get Out, as well as landing roles in Free Guy (2021), Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021), and the Oscar-winning film Judas and the Black Messiah (2021). Howery continues to rise while giving back to his community. He’s lent his talents to causes such as America’s National Night Out Against Crime, a community police-awareness event, as well as speaking up at numerous 2020 protests, honoring George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery among others. He is also a loving father of three.
