Two concerts are in store for July. Jethro Tull fans are sure to be thrilled as Ian Anderson will be here with his THICK AS A BRICK tour on July 14. He’ll perform both his composition THICK AS A BRICK in its entirety for the first time since 1972, and his new album, THICK AS A BRICK 2. And on a totally non-musical note, for all the fans of The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln, that’s Anderson’s son-in-law. But don’t expect any plot leaks during this concert.
In addition, Australian-born singer/songwriter Cody Simpson will headline July 24. His recently released full-length debut album, “PARADISE,” a refreshing blend of contemporary high-energy and acoustic guitar-driven beach pop songs like “Wish U Were Here (Feat. Becky G)” and “Got Me Good.” Simpson reveals much more than just a worldwide multimedia phenomenon – he’s a distinctive and original artist with his own lane. Simpson also starred in the 2012 original film, Finding Cody. Presented by Warner Music Group’s original YouTube Channel, “The Warner Sound,” Founding Cody made history as the first interactive YouTube movie featuring a major musical artist.
Steely Dan takes the stage August 5 for its Mood Swings: 8 Miles To Pancake Day Tour. This band has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the '70s with hits such as Reelin’ in the Years, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, F.M., Peg, Hey Nineteen, Deacon Blues, and Babylon Sisters, culled from their seven platinum albums issued between 1972 and 1980 (including 1977's groundbreaking “Aja”). They reunited in the early '90s, launching a string of sold-out tours. In 2000 they released multi-Grammy winner (including Album Of The Year) “Two Against Nature”, and released its acclaimed follow-up“Everything Must Go” in 2003.
